Key provisions
The corpus is held as a reserve fund — only the income earned on it may be applied to the Trust’s purposes. Investments follow Sections 11 to 13 of the Income Tax Act. Bank accounts are operated jointly by the President, Secretary and Treasurer, and the trustees maintain true accounts of all receipts, payments and dealings.
The deed is irrevocable. It may be amended only by unanimous resolution or a three-fourths majority of the Board, and never in a way that alters the Trust’s charitable character. On dissolution, all funds and property must pass to another trust or institution with similar objects.
