Trustees & Members

Fifteen founding trustees — retired government officers, doctors, teachers, farmers, engineers and professionals — each contributed to the Trust’s corpus at its formation in March 2024. The founders serve as permanent trustees for life. They are joined by members who support the Trust’s work.

Office-bearers

How the Trust is governed

The Trust is administered by a Board of Trustees. The founders are permanent trustees for life; additional honorary trustees may be nominated or co-opted for three-year terms. The President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and Joint Secretary are elected from among the trustees once every three years, and the Board meets at least once every three months.

Bank accounts are operated jointly by the President, Secretary and Treasurer. The Secretary maintains the Trust’s minutes, accounts and records.
